If you mention three different things in your email and he replies, “That will be fine”, which is he referring to?

  1. It’s a reference to the whole thing. It means one of a few things:

    1) He read it all, doesn’t really care, and is just acknowledging receipt.

    2) He didn’t read it, doesn’t really care, and is just acknowledging receipt.

    3) He read it, cares, but is fine with whatever you do and doesn’t want to influence your decision.

    4) He’s a poor communicator—someone you’d be better off without.
