Technology exists to raise my blood pressure
I just lost a post I was writing, because I accidentally clicked on a link on the “Write Post” page. Don’t ask.
I always hate losing something I’ve written. I choose my words carefully, agonise over phrasing, check and re-check the grammar, and then - poof! - it’s all gone. I lose heart when that happens, because I know I will never be able to write it exactly the same way it was. Maybe the next time I try, it’ll be better; maybe it’ll be worse. But one thing’s for sure: it’ll be different.
I’m not going to even attempt to re-write that post right now. I hate computers. Something like this would never happen with pen and paper.

You’re right about that. I have had that happen three or four times and it’s maddening!

Someday, we’ll learn not to use the web interface as our primary editors, but to write with something less fickle and paste our final draft into the web interface.

Until then, I hate it when I lose a post!

MB - Glad to know somebody shares my pain.
Kevin - I usually ’select all’ and ‘copy’ before hitting “Publish”, but when a post is in progress I do not save drafts. Sometimes I compose on Notepad or MS Word; sometimes I compose on the web interface.
Michelle - Thanks for the suggestion, but that’s for Blogger, and I’m using Blogsome. Totally different tools and systems.

Michelle - No problem! So many people use Blogger, it’s a normal assumption to make.
